Dillinger- Blood, Bullets and Blondes

"Dillinger", released in the United States as "The Mobster" was a 1945 biographical crime thriller said to be full of "Bullets, Blood and Blondes"! Directed by German director Max Nosseck, this infamous true-story followed the legend of Jon Dillinger, an American Gangster who ran rampant and robbed over 24 banks amid the Great Depression.

Now, how about this artwork! "Dillinger" was a popular film that experienced various showings across independent theatres in the United States. Featured here is a rare 1945 poster from one of the small showings set for "One Night Only"; The empty space up top would later be filled with the local theatres name. What a fantastic piece of gangster loving cinema history!
